SZE KING LAU (b. 1976 Hangzhou, China) lives and works in Toronto
Sze began to develop her strong understanding of colour and artistic creativity
through her love of fashion design. For over a decade, she ran a very successful
clothing store in Toronto where she sold pieces that she designed and
manufactured herself. After enrolling in private art classes, she began to fulfill a
life-long dream of painting. Many art critics immediately realized her potential
and her unique way of creating beautiful works of art.
Sze is drawn to the beauty of ordinary objects and she enjoys sharing her
insights through her paintings. Her works are free, uplifting and simply full of
life. She can move fluidly from realism to abstract. Sze hopes her audience can be
move by her paintings and sees different perspective of the world. Sze thinks that
it is never too late to do what you love. Follows your passion and dream will
come true.
Since 2014, Sze has been selected to be part of the Canadian Delegation exhibiting
her artwork at the France National Society of Fine Arts international exhibition
held in the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France and then selected by Societe des
artistes independents of France to exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris. These
were just a few highlight of her many exhibitions around the world.
Sze's paintings are constantly showing at different galleries and museums all
over Asia, Europe and North America. As the recipient of many important
international awards such as France Art Letter Science medal, the Milan
International Art Award and the Francisco Goya International Award, Knight
of Malta award etc., Sze has been celebrated as a painter with a bright future in
the art world. Sze's artworks are also collected by international Art Collectors,
Hotels, Museums and Many other private and commercial art lovers.
Sze is also proud to gives back to different charity groups, community, schools
and as well as supporting the local hospitals from the sales of her artworks.
劉思敬（生於1976中國杭州）生活和工作在加拿大多倫多
劉思敬1991年移民到加拿大。畢業於多倫多中央中學美术系後, 劉思敬離開加
拿大至她的出生地杭州，在那裡她學習裁縫和服裝設計。
1996年，劉思敬回到加拿大多倫多開設了自己的時裝精品店。並設計和製造
年輕女性和兒童服裝.
2010年劉思敬決定開始画画。不久後她的作品在加拿大艺术中心舉辦了首次個展, 在同年於多
倫多参与了多個不同的艺术展覽。劉思敬的作品從2014年被法國国家美術協選入在法國巴黎
卢浮宫的沙龍國際藝術展展出。在同年被法国藝術家協會選入每年在巴黎大皇宫沙龍展展
出。2015作品被選入在法國由毕加索孙女组织的沙龍國際藝術展展出。
劉思敬獲得多項美術大奬包括法国科学文化㙯術學會銅奬、多次获得意大利
国家美術奖丶馬以他国家美術獎丶意大利棕榈樹金奬等。
劉思敬热愛生活中的一切，這就是她繪畫的主題範圍廣泛原因。在她的畫也
顯示了她開朗的性格和獨特視角。,通過這些充滿活力的顏色和她的大胆尝试
的不同風格。她的畫总是令人感觉刷新。她認為永不會太晚去追随你的梦

My goal is to share the beauty of ordinary objects, the harmony of nature and the pleasure of simple humanity through my work.
The subjects that inspire me come from every day activities that bring us joy and warm our hearts such as hanging the laundry, watching the sunset while driving home or finding different animal shapes in the clouds.
With no formal training, I am not afraid of using colors and think outside of the box until I achieves something that can truly represent my chosen forms and meanings.
